Catskill Animal Sanctuary

I've heard about the Catskill Animal Sanctuary for quite some time, and finally got a chance to visit.  We got an amazing tour and got to meet cows, horses, pigs, chickens, ducks, goats and sheep (I'm sure I'm missing some species).  Never a bad thing to spend a day with people who are passionate about what they do.

The horses at the farm were so obviously well taken care of and were learning to get used to people.

Really nice cows.  Mellow and licky.  (not words I've used together, previously)

There are two blind horses and a blind donkey on the property.  These guys were beatufiul in their own way.  (The donkey did a little more bonking into the fence).

Jasmine (foreground) and Sister Mary Francis are quite the farm celebrities.  I wish I could be half as entertaining to crowds while dirty and napping.

Apparently a lot of the sheep share a baby sheep Daddy.  Git it!
