The Kaaterskill

We took a little jaunt up to Woodstock to hang out the Kaaterskill, a farm and b&b near Saugerties.  It's a beautiful place.

I wasted no time going to check out the animals.  Mini Donkeys.T

Thanks to my friend Sue, I learned that some "paint" horses have blue eyes!

I love alpacas.  I seek them out.  The farm had three alpacas.  They were interested enough to come check us out, but mostly kept their distance and gave us a bunch of side-eye.  The most aloof alpacas ever!  I'm still a little bitter.  If I wanted to hang out with someone who was interested in me but couldn't get close, I'd time travel back to dating in my 20's.

Kaaterskill Creek.

This trail is dangerous without the ice and snow.  I didn't make it to the trailhead before falling on my ass.

So we gave up, and this was as good as it got.  I'll hike you when you are less deadly, Kaaterskill Falls!
