Fish Eye in Winter
I got a long-lusted after fisheye lens for Christmas. Though I've experimented with the Lomo plastic old-school film camera, and some fun iPhone attachments, this lens is really a class on its own. It's a Nikkor Fisheye 10.5 mm f/2.8 if anyone is dying to know.
I got a couple of snaps in cruising around New Orleans;
Fog on the Mississippi
Back home, I got this shot of the ice storming the beach.
Here is a fisheye shot of a bar in a liquor store where the bartenders bring sour cream and onion dip for the patrons just to be sweet. IT'S A LOT TO TAKE IN, RIGHT??

Should I take the yard gnome inside for the winter?
Speaking of New Orleans, what an amazing 3 days. I love that damn city.
Even when the hotel lost our reservation, everything surrounding that trip just turned to happy. Here's what I was doing when I wasn't fiddling with my new fisheye...
What happens when you get drink tickets at the Hotel Monteleone when your rooms get messed up. Taken with my iPhone when I was quickly forgiving everyone involved.
I took this with my iPhone when I realized that I love chargrilled oysters! At the Bourbon House.
Jackson Square. I took this ridiculously gratuitous shot with my iPhone whilst burying the lede.
Dante's Kitchen is an up-uptown restaurant. The food was amazing. I couldn't love these dudes more, especially when they accidentally do weird twinsie arm poses. Taken with my iPhone while guzzling some ridiculous artisinal punch.
I didn't want my other lenses to get jealous of my new fisheye, so here are a couple of straight shots of the march of winter 2015...
